Concept.

長きに渡り日本のアパレルブランドの
バイヤーを務めさせて頂きました。
バイヤーとして数多くのブランドを紹介して
まいりましたが、いつもある思い、

“私ならいかに表現できるのか？”

ブランド名の MYTHINKS もその様な
思いに所以します。80年代の私は
ビンテージ収集に明け暮れる古着小僧でした。
記憶に残るアイテム、素材、色やユニークな
ディテールずっと好きだったアイテムを
形にしてクローゼットに詰めていくと

MYTHINKS のクローゼットラインが
できあがりました。




Through my twenty-five years of
buying for a Japanese brand,
I have always focused on the notion:
if I wear I would…
This is where the brand
name was derived from.

The better of my career during
the 1980s was spent collecting
vintage pieces;often dressing
myself in the same garments
I uncovered along the way.

The time-tested cuts, colors,
textiles, and details of these
particular vintage pieces have
been reworked into our more modern,
and fundamentally-technical clothing.
